Hello and happy Wednesday everyone!
Last week I discussed how I got into freelancing. Although that’s helpful, not everyone will be able to replicate what I did. Because of this, I wrote an article this week regarding 4 Odd Places to Find Freelance Writing Work. I also published another article earlier this week discussing 4 Hard Truths About Freelancing I Wish I Knew Earlier.
Traditional job boards aren’t all that beneficial when it comes to finding freelancing gigs, and I wanted to give you some different options. You’d be surprised the kinds of jobs you can find on Twitter — I pitched Business Insider Australia just yesterday!
Speaking of “gigs”, I recently wrote an article about how my first week selling on Fiverr went. Since publishing the article two days ago, I’ve made an additional $24 from two clients. You can find my original Fiverr article about my strategy going into selling on the platform here.
I highly recommend trying out the platform for yourself - it’s a great opportunity to build your client list and add another income stream to your portfolio. Plus, it’s fun to use and shop on if you’re in the market for … pretty much anything.
If you have any specific questions or topics you would like me to address in the newsletter next week, feel free to reach out. You are able to respond to this email or you can post any remarks on my newsletter’s Substack post homepage.
As always, thank you for your support! I look forward to seeing everyone on Medium.
