Hello,
Happy Tuesday, everyone!
I wanted to give some free links to my newest articles this week - I have 3!
First up is an article I wrote for The Post-Grad Survival Guide: I Graduated in 2020 and Still Have My Internship From 2018. I talk about how helpful it is to keep an internship as an additional income stream and why holding onto “student” employment shouldn’t be stigmatized. I also talk about the site where I found the internship and a couple of other paid internships, too. It’s a great resource for anyone looking for extra experience or cash.
My second article is 5 Ways to Monetize Your Writing, which I would consider a must-read for writers. If you’re familiar with monetization, it will be a refresher article but it’s a great place to start if you’re new to the freelancing/side hustle world.
Finally, my most recent article: Don’t Be Distracted by Lucrative Contracts When Freelancing. I discuss a contract I have and how it impacts my overall freelancing goals in both positive and negative ways. I stress how important it is to prioritize your brand over working on contracts with companies. I want to work for myself at some point!
On deck is an article titled, “Writing for Other Writers Isn’t a Cop-out”, which will be published in The Writing Cooperative on Feb. 10th. I hope you enjoy it.
Thank you for supporting my writing!
